Business email
Your email address. Your domain. Set up in 20 minutes.
Google provides the mailbox, JULALO sets the records for your domain, and the Hub guides you step by step – with a check after every step. No prior knowledge needed.
You land right at the spot in your account. No account yet? Sign in first, then continue there.
Why your own address
-
Trust with your customers
An address under your own domain shows there is a business behind it. Customers remember info@your-company.com more easily than an address at a free provider.
-
The address stays yours
The domain belongs to you. If you change the provider for your mailbox later, the address stays the same. Your customers won’t notice a thing.
-
Mailbox with calendar and apps
With Google Workspace you get Gmail, calendar, contacts and file storage – on your computer and on your phone.
How it goes: five steps
The assistant in the Hub shows one step at a time. After each one it checks that everything is in place before moving on. You can stop at any time and continue tomorrow.
-
1. Create a Google account
- You
- You open Google Workspace, enter your company name and type in your domain exactly as the Hub shows it.
- The Hub
- Shows your domain with a copy button and tells you which fields Google asks for.
- Time
- about five minutes
-
2. Verify your domain
- You
- Google shows you a verification code. You paste it into the Hub.
- The Hub
- Sets the record for your domain, checks it and tells you when to click “Verify” at Google.
- Time
- a few minutes
-
3. Activate Gmail
- You
- You choose which records Google shows you – usually it is a single one – and then click “Activate Gmail” at Google.
- The Hub
- First checks whether your domain receives mail elsewhere today, warns you if so, and then sets the new records.
- Time
- a few minutes
-
4. Protection against forged senders
- You
- You generate a signing key in the Google Admin console and paste it into the Hub.
- The Hub
- Sets three protective records, checks each one and explains in a sentence what it does.
- Time
- about five minutes
-
5. Test email with a code
- You
- You enter your new address, receive an email with a code and type it into the Hub.
- The Hub
- Sends the test email and confirms: mail under your domain arrives at Google. Done.
- Time
- one minute
Done!
Mail under your domain arrives at Google.
And a small celebration at the end.
When the test email arrives and the code matches, the Hub celebrates briefly with you. Then it calmly shows the summary: domain, address, date – and the buttons to Gmail and the Admin console.
Two ways, the same steps
-
Domain at JULALO
Is your domain registered through JULALO or transferred to JULALO? Then the records live with us. One button in the Hub sets them all, you enter nothing by hand.
-
Domain at another provider
Is your domain somewhere else? The Hub shows every record as a tile with a copy button. You enter it at your provider, and the Hub checks on click whether it has arrived.
What you need
-
Your own domain
Registered at JULALO or connected to your Julalosite. None yet? The domain first, then the email.
-
A Google Workspace account
The contract for the mailbox is between you and Google; Google states its prices on its website. JULALO charges nothing extra for this.
-
About 20 minutes
Longer with breaks. The Hub remembers where you were.
Common questions
What does it cost?
Nothing extra at JULALO: the assistant and the records are part of your Julalosite. Google bills the mailbox, at its own prices, directly to you.
Does this work with another email provider too?
The records for your domain can be set for any provider. Today the assistant guides you through Google Workspace, step by step and with checks. For another provider, support will help you.
I already have mailboxes at my old provider.
They are not carried over. Once Gmail is active, new mail goes to Google. Fetch or back up old mail beforehand. The Hub warns you explicitly at this point.
How long until the records take effect?
Usually minutes. Rarely it takes up to a day until every place on the net knows the new state. The Hub checks on click, you don’t have to guess.
Does JULALO read my email?
No. Your mail runs at Google. JULALO only sets the records for your domain and sends one test email to the address you name.
What if I get stuck?
Support helps in four languages: German, English, French and Spanish. You choose your topic in the Hub, we reply promptly. To support
Your address. Your domain. Today.
The Hub guides you through all five steps and checks each one.
Google Workspace and Gmail are products of Google LLC. The contract for them is between you and Google.
